History
how it all began...

"What does a turnip look like?" It seemed an innocent enough question, put forward by one Twiglet Sawdust. But somehow, the question stayed in the minds of everyone present.

We soon found ourselves asking everyone we knew the same question. Nobody seemed to know! Kymmy, a close friend of Twiglet, promptly changed her e-mail adress (not:not her screen-name) to ask the same question.

Soon after, Rosie (myself) and Fawny declared themselves the Blonde Turnips (although we opted for the more multicultural name, 'Blonde Rüben' (pronounced 'blon-da roo-bern') when we learnt the German word 'Rübe')

The Frisée Cabbage declared her friendship to the turnips.

As these five people preached their ways, Turnipology grew substantially. A landmark was made when Rosie produced a book: 'A Brief Study of Turnipology'. Many people now know of Turnipology.

And, with the help this website, I hope Turnipology will continue to grow, perhaps until it is known worldwide.
