~Abacuses - Don't you just look at those weird things and go "Wow!" or "Ooooooooh, colours......." ? You don't? You must be lying....

~Animals - Turnips tend to get along with all animals. They like playing with them and spend as much time as possible with them. Animals like Turnips too.

~Aliens - Turnips are aliens, so naturally, we have lots of alien friends.

~Art - Art just plain rules, when it's done well. And you can even claim that TV or pop music is art, so don't argue. XP

~Badgerbadgerbadger.com - Don't ask. Just go there. And laugh. Because it's good. Got it?

~Bob the chicken fish - Pictures of Bob are coming. He is one very kewl little chicken fish, created by Fawny the Blonde Rübe.

~Buggers - Although it may be rude, bugger is one great word. Just try sitting there and saying "buggerbuggerbuggerbuggerbugger" (like Kymmy does). It's really fun...

~Buttons - Great for decorating things. Twiggy and I (Rosie) sewed them all over our bags, they make them much more interesting.

~Cabbages - The Frisée (or Frizzy) Cabbage is a great friend of the Turnips. Though she moans a lot, life wouldn't be the same without her!

~Cats - Could go under the animals heading, but then Alice would kill me....

~Chocolate - Who could do without chocolate? It's the very stuff of life! Mmmmmmmm....chocolate....

~Colour! - All Turnips like colour. They come from Rainbowland after all. So they dress in as many different bright colours as they can without blinding people. No good having colour if you can't see it, after all.

~Dancing - I've yet to discover whether any Turnips are good dancers, but hyper, crazy dancing is one of the best pastimes ever invented. And it counts as exercise, too...

~Dido - She had us all singing along to "White Flag", in Twiggy's case "I will go down with fishes, and I will poke my eyes out..."

~Dogs - Man's best friend, possibly Turnip's best friend too....

~Doughnuts - Possibly one of the best things ever created from dough. Especially the little mini ones which you can share. :)

~Drawing - The drawing doesn't have to resemble anything. Just pick up a pencil/paintbrush/fridge and put it on some paper. There. Art.

~Elephants - Big and grey and very cool.

~Elves - Very cool, even if they don't exist. Tall and pretty and great for drawing. Elfwood is a great art site that was probably, we presume, made by elves. Or, failing that, someone who likes them a lot. ;)

~Evanescence - In my opinion, the best band in the world. Although I annoy the other Turnips by singing their songs too much...Go to this site if you want to find out about them.

~Everything - Try loving life, loving everything, just for one day. Heeee, it's fun. Then you can go back to being how you were again, even if you're a depressing old bag. You'll have at least tried it.

~Faeries - A bit like elves, only they're smaller and sparklier and can fly. And those little seed things people call fairies are pretty cool too...

~Firemen - One of Twiggy's particular likes, again. Big, strong firemen....

~Flying pigs - Possibly one of the best ideas every invented. They regularly stop by my window to oink a bit before they go on...

~Friends - Only weird schizo people can survive without friends. Everyone needs friends, someone to talk to, a shoulder to cry on...

~Fun - Everybody likes fun!

~Games - Tend to come with fun. Turnips especially like games that involve doing crazy hyper things that you'd never even think of doing unless it was in a game.

~Garden gnomes - "One by one, the garden gnomes are stealing my sanity..." And they got Sam dentention. Go gnomes!

~Giant Turnips - As the song goes, "the big Turnip loves us all, falalalalalalaaaaaaaaaa"

~Goats - Though they can be a bit violent, goats can also be lovely creatures. My neighbour once had a pet goat called Bernadet, who she walked around on a dog-lead. XD -coughcrazyladycough-

~Happiness - Happiness gooooooooood. Happiness makes you happified! Everyone likes being happified! Even depressed people like being happy. If they don't, then they're faking it (like Sam).

~Hippies - Hippies are veeery cool people. With great dress sense, and good opinions on stuff. Happy hoppy hippy happy hippy hoppy happy hippy hoppy....

~Hugs - Most Turnips love hugs. (I don't, but ah well.) Hug someone in the street today, it'll either make them feel loved or think that you're crazy, both of which are positive outcomes...

~Hypothesis (the word) - It's not actual hypotheses that we like, just the word. It's fun.

~Imaginary friends - Interesting company, no one else can see them, and they never leave you! What more could you ask? But they are real...

~Individuality - Following the crowd is just boring and sad. Be yourself! Do what you want, not what other people are doing. It'll be a lot better for everyone that way.

~Insanity - Nothing is more fun than insanity. As long as it's the 'good clean fun' type, not the 'don't do that, that's insane, you'll kill yourself' type, which tends to result in pain.

~Jumping - Jumping around hyperly and randomly is very fun. Although tiring. And if it's in PE, then you can guarantee it's not going to be any fun at all. But jumping because you want to is.

~Kites - Kites are fun as long as it's windy. Just make sure it's not too windy...Turnips aren't very heavy and if that wind gets too strong they might just get blown away!

~Kurt Cobain - Nirvana rules. Why did he have to die? :(

~Liquidised turd - A non-alcoholic drink invented at Twiggy's birthday party. Basically a lot of stuff mixed together. Nothing much to do with turd, really.

~Lollipops - They taste nice and they make you hyper. What more could you ask?

~Masks - Another one of those things that just don't need explaining.

~Me - Turnips like everyone. Try to say it to yourself every day - "Turnips love me!!!"

~Mittens - Soo better than gloves.

~Monkeys - Cute and fluffy and kewl. The monkey man who sold Kymmy a squeaky mouthpiece was pretty cool too.

~Mops - If you haven't experienced the greatness of mops yet, I pity you greatly.

~Muffin people - Do you know the muffin man?

~Muse - Another one of the best bands in the world. If you don't know who they are, for the love of God, go find out!

~Music - Does this need explaining? I didn't think so...

~Nirvana - Can you tell that we like rock music yet?

~Night time - Plain better than daytime. More interesting, and no chance of getting sunburnt, whatever the weather.

~Nuttiness - Well, if you can't go nutty sometimes, I pity you. It must make life very boring...

~Other Turnips - Turnips especially like other Turnips. They have their own language and special games that they just couldn't play with anyone else.

~Outties - Twiggy is one of those rare people with an outty belly button. There aren't many, we even did a survey to prove it! If you do have an outty belly button, be proud of it. I'm sure Twiggy would love to hear from you.

~Pamplemousses - French for grapefruits. And a great word in itself.

~Paperclips - They are so cool. And they have so many uses too! Make them into chains, bend them out of shape, clip them to your head...

~Pie - In the words of the wise Weebl and Bob, "Mmmmm....pie."

~Platypuses - So weird and funny and cool.

~Plebs - A made-up word. It can be a verb, a noun, or an insult, depending on the context. Now, how's that for flexibility?

~Pokes - *pokes you* A great thing to do if you can't start a conversation. Poooooke...

~Quack - Quaaaaaaaaack! Another one of those great words.

~Quasar - Nothing beats, er, running around in the dark trying to shoot people.

~Rain - Most people hate rain, but we don't. It's wet, it gives you an excuse to sing, and it helps make rainbows!

~Rainbows - Turnips love, love, love rainbows! Rainbow colour has got to be a Turnip's favourite. They do come from Rainbowland, after all. They tend to find our normal 'Earthy' colours a bit dull, if they're honest enough to say so.

~Randomness - You just can't beat good old randomness. It'll save they day in any dying conversation...

~Sleeping - All that hyperness just exhausts Turnips! We need good sleep at the end of the day to restore our energy!

~Spongebob Squarepants - The Ginger Carrot in particular likes Spongebob. In France, he's called Bob l'Éponge (Bob the Sponge), which we just don't think cuts it. Poor, deprived French people.

~Staples - Almost as good as paperclips. :)

~Stars - So pretty and far away, and pretty....

~Sugar - It makes you hyper, it makes things taste nice, it gives you lots of energy and it's addictive. Sugar's one of those things that really helps you to act like the normal crazy, hyper Turnips!

~Trees - What can you do with a tree? Well...sit under it, climb it, hide in it, shelter under it, study it and, of course, hug it. And there are lots of other things you can do too.

~Tree-huggers - See, other people like trees too! Lots of them are hippies, which gives them bonus points. :)

~Umbrellas - They keep you dry and they come in all sorts of colourful designs. Perfect for dull days, even if it doesn't rain! Try taking one in the shower!

~Veggie Tales - They may be designed for 6-year-olds but we love 'em. Soooooooo cute! You can find them at www.bigidea.com if you don't know what they are.

~Vets - They help animals. 'Nuff said.

~Weebl and Bob - These things rule! Although they can be a little rude sometimes...If you haven't seen them you can catch them on MTV, or here if you have flash.

~Weirdos - Originality can often be mistaken for weirdness. So I, personally, would like to be a weirdo if it means I'm original. Remember, everyone's someone else's weirdo.

~Wellies - One more of those things that just don't need explaining. They keep your feet dry. XD

~Wiccans - Wicca isn't actually that scary. It's a religion, it's not some sort of cult turning people into stereotypical witches. Don't be prejudiced against Wiccans.

~Wildlife - Another thing that could happily go under the animal category, but then we'd be forgetting plants, wouldn't we?

~Wonky eyes - Another one of Twiggy's quirks. They're very kewl.

~X-rays - X-ray machines are very cool things. And then you get to see your bones.

~Xylophones - Well, Turnips can't discriminate against certain letters of the alphabet, can they? We like xylophones, they go boooooooong...

~Yesterday - Yesterday, all our troubles seemed so far away....Yesterday always seems better than today.

~Yoga - I'm not sure we're very good at it, but yoga's definitely fun!

~You - In case you haven't got the idea yet, Turnips love you! You should love them too!

~Zebras - Yep, another animal. :)
